MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Mummy, Daddy and I had a lovely Christmas day at Powers Towers.
I got toys and a fabulous activity mat, and lots more.
However, I intend to to get revenge for my ridiculous hat in the not too distant future - watch out for that particular nappy!

My American family

Here's some shots from my hello/goodbye meeting with Rachel, Hannah and Zachary. Rachel is my Daddy's Aunt and she has moved back to Florida.

Mummy and Daddy said this is very sad but I will enjoy visiting them in the USA before long.

Doing what I do best.

Hopefully my mummy will film some slightly more interesting activity soon
but as you are here I guess you might as well take a look anyway...

First trip out.

I wasn't entirely happy with being dressed like a furry snowball, but
once we went out on our first family trip I understood why.

It was f-f-freezing outside Powers Towers!

Mummy and Daddy took me to get a Birth Mustificate - whatever that is?

I love my red car seat. It goes with my red pram - vroom, vroom!

Eek! That wasn't so nice.

What's the big deal with taking a bath!?
I've done it once and I don't like it!

Take a look.

PS Sorry about the rotting umbilical cord. It looks minging
and stinks like 10-day-old road kill.

My first week on the outside

Having escaped from the hole in my mummy's tummy and the clutches of the lovely staff at the Royal Surrey Hospital Guildford ( Did I mention they are great?), I have spent the last few days acclimatising to my new home - Powers Towers in Cobham, England.

The lush room that I have been given is compact but well appointed, benefiting from recent refurbishment, GCH, fitted carpet and cuddly toys.

I have been mostly sleeping and eating. I get hungry every four hours or so, which I think helps my mummy and daddy get things ready for me.

I've had lots of visitors over the last few days - I already have more hair than most of them. They all wanted to take pictures, so I've posted some below. The first is with Papa Michael Lanigan (my mummy's daddy) and the second is with Great Grandad Ron. He was in the army. I'm not ready for fifty press-ups so I made sure to behave nicely when he held me.

Royal Surrey Hospital, Guildford - Arrivals.

Top left - My Mummy gives me a hug after I've emerged from her tummy. She would like to state for the record that she was not "too posh to push". I managed to get myself in a really comfortable position and had made up my mind that I wasn't headed south any time soon.

Top right - Mummy, Daddy and Me. I'm the small one who doesn't look surprised. I knew I was a girl.

Bottom left - It really takes it out of you being gorgeous.

Bottom right - Granny Powers comes to visit. She loves hugging me - which is cool!

It's with a 'PH' not an 'F'...

Let me introduce myself. My name is Sophia Frances Powers and I made my grand entrance to this world at 1119am on Friday 14th December 2007.
Nearly everyone except my Aunty Danielle thought I was going to be a boy - yeuch!
I am very much a girl.

In keeping with the other girls of my generation in the Powers' family, I thought I better start a blog so that everyone in my family can see how I'm getting along. So here goes...
